On July 3, the opening ceremony of HANQI Environmental's new Tianjin R&D Center was held at E85, Hengtong Enterprise Port, Xiqing District, Tianjin. Chairman Lu Qinghua, General Manager Wang Xiaoyang, and Deputy General Managers Chen Lihui and Yang Quan attended the ribbon-cutting. Department managers and employee representatives witnessed the R&D team and the Tianjin solutions team officially move into the new standalone building. The brief, practical ceremony focused on one core goal: raising our R&D capabilities to a new level and strengthening our technical foundation.

Chairman's Message
Chairman Lu Qinghua said:"Expanding the Tianjin R&D Center is both a response to industry changes and a natural step to deepen our technical roots. The water treatment industry has moved from extensive to precision operations. Clients now want energy savings, higher efficiency, and better integration across the whole process—and these demands must be led by technology."

He added:"Our survival and growth depend on differentiated products and technologies. We will keep making long‑term, sustained R&D investments. R&D must be practical and data‑driven—that is our foundation." He also expressed confidence in the team: he hopes they will continue to grow through field experience and data accumulation, making the Tianjin R&D Center a true hub for innovation.

New Facility
R&D Manager Xie Xiaopeng introduced the new facility: a four‑story standalone building with over 1,200 m² of space, combining bench‑scale testing, pilot testing, analytical labs, and offices. It is equipped with more than ten sets of specialized instruments, covering the full chain of physicochemical treatment, biodegradation, and advanced oxidation processes. Dozens of key project indicators can now be tested in‑house.

The building was renovated from bare shell to full operation in just two months. Notably, the layout follows strong engineering logic—solutions upstairs, experiments downstairs—creating the shortest feedback loop for parameter validation. "Only solid experiments produce reliable solutions."he said.

Supporting Meetings
On July 2–3, the company also held a bi‑monthly marketing meeting, an OA review meeting, mid‑year one‑on‑one manager meetings, and a management meeting, plus a group tour of the new R&D lab. The two‑day intensive agenda had one clear aim: accelerating technology iteration and improving management efficiency. The OA system is undergoing a digital upgrade focused on convenience, with optimized workflow steps. Management reviews openly addressed each department's strengths and areas for improvement, strengthening cross‑functional collaboration and turning organizational synergy into systematic support for every project.
