HANQI Secures Complex High-Salinity Wastewater Treatment Project in Indonesia's Chlor-Alkali Industry
Date:2025-10-10
Recently, HANQI has been awarded a contract to treat complex high-salinity wastewater for a chlor-alkali enterprise in Indonesia. The company will provide a comprehensive solution covering process design, equipment supply, installation, and commissioning.
The project involves treating multiple challenging wastewater streams, including toxic high-salinity effluent from the EDC unit, regenerated liquid from electrolytic saltwater purification, and SRS high-sodium sulfate brine. These streams are characterized by complex compositions—high salinity, high toxicity, and strong corrosiveness—placing stringent demands on treatment stability and equipment corrosion resistance.
Faced with a tight schedule and the need to comply with multiple standards (including Indonesian local standards, ASEM, API, and internal corporate standards), HANQI will leverage its robust technical and management systems to ensure high-quality delivery, enabling wastewater reuse and high-standard discharge.
Upon completion, the project will support the industrial park in achieving its environmental goals, provide a reliable reference for regional industrial wastewater treatment, and contribute to the Belt and Road Initiative while promoting sustainable development in Indonesia.
